ABSTRAK
ThisstudyintendstoexaminethedifferencesofthefundamentalbeliefsoftheSeventh-dayAdventistChurch(SDAchurch)withCalvinismtraditionsaboutSabbath,food,worship,predestination.ThisstudyconcludedthatSDAchurch'sunderstandingorviewwiththeCalvinismregardingthefundamentalbeliefsabouttheSabbathconcludedthattheSDAchurch’sunderstandingismorebiblicalthantheCalvinisttradition.SDAchurchbeliefonfoodismorebiblicalandthepracticeisinaccordancewiththeBiblecomparedtotheCalvinism.SDAchurch’understandingorviewsandpracticesinworshipwiththeCalvinismarealmostpracticallythesameintheirprocedures.SDAchurch’sunderstandingorviewwiththeCalvinismregardingpredestinationdifferinview,SDAchurchisthemostinaccordancewiththeBible.SDAchurchhastheirbeliefsandpracticesaswellaccordingtotheBible,whiletheCalvinismhasanunderstandingorbeliefinaccordancewiththeinterpretationofchurchreformerssuchasJohnCalvinandothergeneralchurch.ThisstudysuggeststobothdenominationsregardingSabbath,food,worship,andpredestinationtoharmonizeunderstandingbasedontheBiblesoasnottoincreaseorreducethetrueunderstandingwhiletherearesimilaritiesinimplementingtheirworship.TheSeventh-dayAdventistchurchhasbiblicalbeliefsandtheirpracticesaccordingtotheBible,whiletheCalvinisttraditionhasanunderstandingaccordingtotheinterpretationofchurchreformerssuchasJohnCalvinandalsothegeneralchurch.
